| When Constance and
her littermate Courage turnd out even better than we
could have dreamed, we knew we had to repeat that
cross. Bliss is the result....and she is just as
stunning as Constance! In fact, they are so alike
that even we confuse the two together. Excelling in
general appearance and dairy strength, Bliss has the
same beautiful "Constantine" front end, feet and
legs, coupled with a beautiful high, wide
escutcheon. At this point, the only difference
between Bliss and her older sister, Constance is
that Bliss is a little more dairy and a bit
leveler across the topline, whereas Constance is a
bit deeper, wider and a smidge stronger in her
shoulder assembly. Otherwise these girls are two
peas in a pod!! Bliss freshened for the
first time in 2019, and we are very pleased with the
outcome! Her udder is very correct, having great
area of attachment and being extremely high up into
her escutcheon, with great width to the rear and
smoothness to the fore. I would like to see better
teat placement on her, but as that only counts for 4
points on the scorecard, I really cannot complain.
This doe will be one to keep an eye on in the
