Rhodes was kind of a spur of
the moment addition in 2022, and we could not be
happier with him! He has a really beautiful front
end and feet and legs, which can be a hard thing to
find in the Saanen breed. He has a long, lean neck,
long, level topline, and an incredibly wide, flat
rump. Not to mention he is a giant! I believe he
will bring beautiful toplines and rumps, correct
feet and legs, and lovely udders to the table. I am
very excited to see his kids!
Rhodes' pedigree is stacked top
to bottom. Rhodes' dam, CH Jen-Mae-Ka Kids Catalina,
is a lovely young doe in the Jen-Mae-Ka Kids herd
who caught my eye on social media. She is a deep,
wide, and powerful doe who just speaks dairy
strength. Her udder is incredibly well attached, and
teat placement is near perfect! Catalina's dam, GCH
Jen-Mae-Ka Kids Daytona, is a striking doe that I
have long admired. Like her daughter she has a
correct front end, long, level topline, beautiful
feet and legs, and a near perfect udder. Rhodes'
paternal granddam is SGCH Vineyard-View Pepe
Humuhumu EX 92 EEEE, the 1st/1st udder yearling
milker at the 2018 ADGA National Show and the
2nd/2nd udder 2 year old the following year.
Humuhumu appraised 89 as a yearling milker, the
highest score possible, and milked over 3300#. She
also took the title for NSBA Oveerall All American
Senior Doe in 2020. |
