| We were very
excited to get a doeling out of our
Constantine/Merry cross, and she is developing into
all we could have hoped! Constance is a big,
powerful kid excelling in general appearance with
impressive bone substance. She has an
excellent shoulder assembly and stands on extremely
strong, correct feet and legs. Her back is long and
level, blending smoothly into a wide, flat rump with
a high, open escutcheon. Her escutcheon is so
reminiscent of Merry's that we are eager to see her
future mammary! Although she could have more
development of barrel like Asteria and Serenity, she
is turning into a beautiful doe and we look forward
to seeing how she shows!
Constance has
matured into perhaps our most beautiful young doe,
certainly the largest! Her general appearance
coupled with her dairy strength and power is truly
excellent. Her body capacity has really started to
come in, even though it still falls a little short
of Asteria. However, Constance has certainly been
our strongest junior on our show string, and hands
down won her junior let at her first show of the
year. We are super excited to see her freshen in
2018! Unfortunately, Constance slipped her
pregnancy, and thus did not freshen. So we look
forward to getting her bred, freshened, and back on
track with the other milking does in 2019! |
