Faerie was the only
experimental kid born on the farm in 2019, so she
was staying no matter what. But the fact that she is
gorgeous certainly helps! Faerie is a true
powerhouse of a doe, and took the best of both
worlds from her parents. Tall, long and extremely
dairy like her dam, she carries an impressive amount
of width and strength throughout from her sire. She
has the widest escutcheon out of all our kids, and
with her parentage, I expect her udder to be nothing
less than beautiful. Pair all that with the fact
that she stands on an excellent set of feet and has
a very mellow personality, and you have a true easy
keeper! Consistently placing at the top of her class
and even managing to pick up a Reserve despite her
young age, I definitely believe that she is one to
watch in the future!
Like many of our other young
does, Faerie has gone through some growth spurts and
needs some time to put everything back together
again. However, with how wide and open that
escutcheon is, I expect her to freshen beautifully.
Faerie was one of my most
highly anticipated FFs as she was my first Xavier
daughter to freshen, and she did not disappoint!
There is so much height and width to her rear udder,
and her fore udder is very smooth. She can millk,
too, peaking at over 12#! There is not much that I
don't love about her, she's a hard doe to fault.
This one is not going anywhere anytime soon! |
