I had sold Dynasty as a bred
dry yearling in the summer of 2021 when we had to
make some hard cuts, and regretted it almost
immediately. She freshened beautifully for her new
owner in October of 2021, but unfortunately never
really settled into her new home. So, in February of
2022, I made the decision to let her rejoin the
herd. Boy, am I glad I did! It took awhile to get
her back into proper condition, but with some extra
TLC she has bounced back wonderfully. Despite her
ups and downs, she is always her happy, goofy self
and works incredibly hard in the milking parlor.
Dynasty scored an exciting 89 VEVE at our LA session
in April, the highest possible score for a first
freshener. She also earned her second leg towards
her permanent championship at her first show out as
a milker, and hit the 97th percentile on her
production evaluation making her our very first
homebred ELITE doe! While she is the type of doe
that will need some time to mature and grow into
herself, give her a couple of years and she will be
hard to beat! |
