Asgarth is a pretty Xavier
daughter who we really love for her correct
conformation and sweet, gentle personality like her
sire. Long and level, flat boned and very wide
throughout with an extremely flat rump, I expect her
to freshen with a lovely udder. Asgarth has gone
through a few awkward growth stages, but I have
always known that Rapids' line is slow to mature and
I can be patient.
I always knew that the Xavier
daughters need a little longer to really come into
themselves, and that was certainly the case with
Asgarth! Now at 13 months of age, she is so very
correct in all the parts that matter - width and
depth throughout up into the escutcheon, beautiful
front tend, feet, legs, rump, topline - and easily
earned her dry leg at her first show out. Can't wait
to see this one fresh
Asgarth freshened in February
2022, and I couldn't be more pleased. Beautiful
high, wide rear udder, smooth fore, and attachment
everywhere! At our LA session, the appraiser
couldn't get over how incredibly balanced and
proportionate she is. She scored V or E in all
structural categories, with a rear udder height of
41, rear udder arch of 30, and fore udder of 34, and
received a final score of 88 VEVE as a FF. We took
her out to one summer show, and she was GCH/BOB in
the first two rings, making her a permanent
champion. She may be young, but she is seriously one
to look out for! |
